Better use for spent grain

At the BeerCraftery tour, tour guide Kevin shows the spent grains dumpster.

Kevin: These are the spent grain. We give them as feed to farmers.

Participant: But it still looks good!

What a waste! Can't you use it as people food?

Kevin: We used to sell it to the health conscious crowd and make some money off our trash. After all, they pay more than cows do. But they're all hooked on tofu these days.

Participant: But to throw it all out?

Kevin: I know! We tried brewing with tofu, but that didn't work.
