Open the can?
Problems with extract brewing or frugality?
Paul and Max brew a beer from a kit with malt extract..
Paul reads the instructions: Let's see... that can is the malt extract... boil that... add hops... ferment...
Max dumps the can in the pot.
A few weeks later
Paul and Max sample their homebrew.
Paul: Nice hop aroma!
Max: True, but lacks a bit in body.
Paul: I don't care for those malty sweet beers anyway.
Max: Hops rock!
Paul: Doesn't pack too many calories.
Max: Very clear. Can't stand murky beers.
Paul: Should we open the can next time?
Max: We could... But this way the stuff lasts longer...
